Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Rocket Health services (including telehealth consultations, pharmacy deliveries, laboratory testing, vaccinations and immunizations, and the chronic care management service), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the services immediately.

2. Services Provided

Rocket Health offers healthcare services through telehealth consultations, laboratory testing, vaccinations, pharmacy deliveries, and more. These services are provided by licensed healthcare professionals and are subject to availability and scheduling.

  • Telehealth: Our doctors provide consultations based on the information provided by the patient. Diagnosis may be limited due to the lack of physical examination.
  • Laboratory Testing and Pharmacy Delivery: Results and delivery times are estimates and may vary. Customers are responsible for providing accurate information.
  • Vaccination Services: Rocket Health provides both private and UNEPI (government) vaccines. UNEPI vaccines are free, although delivery may include a service fee where applicable, which will be communicated at the time of service request.

3. User Obligations

  • Accurate Information: You must provide accurate personal, medical, and payment information. Any misinformation provided by the user may result in incorrect diagnosis, delays, or service cancellation, for which Rocket Health is not liable.
  • Compliance with Medical Advice: You agree to follow the medical advice provided by our healthcare professionals. Failure to do so may impact your treatment outcome, for which Rocket Health cannot be held responsible.
  • Prescription Medications: Prescription medicines require a valid doctor’s prescription. Rocket Health reserves the right to refuse dispensing any medication that lacks appropriate authorization.

4. Payments and Fees

  • Cash Payments: Cash payments must be made through available options such as Mobile Money, Visa, Rocket Health Wallet, or any other methods prescribed by a Rocket Health agent at the time of service delivery. Payments must be completed before service provision.
  • Insurance: Rocket Health accepts payments through partner health insurance providers. Insurance coverage is subject to the terms and conditions of the insurer. The user is responsible for verifying coverage and completing any co-payments before services.
  • Service Charges: Where applicable, service charges will be added to your total cost. These will be communicated during the ordering process.
  • UNEPI Vaccine Delivery: While UNEPI vaccines are free, delivery of these vaccines to your location may include a service fee. The service fee will be disclosed at the time of booking the service.
  • Non-refundable Fees: Fees for doctor teleconsultations, laboratory testing, vaccinations, immunizations, and other services are non-refundable once the service has been rendered, unless in cases of service failure attributable to Rocket Health.

5. Limitations of Liability

Rocket Health will make reasonable efforts to ensure that services are available 24/7. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access due to technical issues or force majeure (natural disasters, government actions, etc.). We will not be liable for any damages arising from service interruptions. Telehealth consultations are limited in scope compared to physical examinations. Rocket Health is not responsible for any adverse outcomes resulting from failure to attend follow-up consultations or disclose complete medical information. Rocket Health is not liable for any delays in service provision caused by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to traffic, weather conditions, and third-party service providers.

No Emergency Services: Rocket Health does not provide emergency medical services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please contact the appropriate emergency services immediately.

6. Data Privacy, Marketing, and Security

  • Personal Data: Rocket Health collects and stores your personal and medical data in compliance with Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act. We use this data to provide, improve, and personalize our services.
  • Marketing Communications: By using Rocket Health’s services, you consent to receive marketing messages about promotions, new services, or offers via SMS, email, or other communication channels. You can opt-out of these messages at any time by following the instructions provided in the communication.
  • Data Sharing: We may share your information with third parties (e.g., referral laboratories, health insurance companies) for service provision purposes. By using our services, you consent to such data sharing.
  • Data Security: Rocket Health takes reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access. However, no system is completely secure. By using our services, you acknowledge the risks associated with digital transactions and agree that Rocket Health is not liable for unauthorized data breaches unless due to gross negligence on our part.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Customers can cancel a scheduled service any time within 24 hours after order placement. Cancellations made after this period may incur a fee or be non-refundable.

Refunds are issued only in cases where Rocket Health fails to deliver the agreed-upon service. Partial refunds may be considered in specific situations, subject to review.

8. Third-Party Providers

Rocket Health may work with third-party providers to provide services such as laboratory testing, medication delivery, and insurance billing. Rocket Health is not responsible for any errors, delays, or issues caused by these third-party providers. However, Rocket Health will assist in resolving any disputes to the best of our ability.

9. Modifications to Services and Terms

Rocket Health reserves the right to modify its services and these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective upon posting on our website or app. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Rocket Health harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms and Conditions, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of Rocket Health services will be governed by the laws of Uganda. In the event of a disagreement, both parties agree to resolve the matter amicably through negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter will be referred to arbitration in Uganda in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act of Uganda. The decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding.
