TYPHIM is a vaccine used to protect against typhoid fever, a bacterial infection caused by Salmonella typhi that is commonly contracted while traveling to regions with poor sanitation and hygiene. This vaccine contains inactivated typhoid bacteria, which stimulate the body’s immune system to produce antibodies that fight against the disease.

Typhim VI is administered as a single injection, usually in the upper arm, at least two weeks prior to travel to areas where typhoid fever is endemic
