Lanolin is a topical cream for the skin used as a moisturizer to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations such as diaper rash, radiotherapy skin burns and others. Lanolin is also used to treat sore and cracked nipples caused by breastfeeding.
